PSY 218 Psychology of Women This course will explore issues raised by the new female self-awareness. Topics include a brief review of research methods and an introduction to the topic. Gender stereotypes and gender biases will be discussed. We will follow the developing female from infancy and childhood to adolescence. The course will then focus on gender comparisons in areas including cognitive abilities and attitudes about success as well as social and personality characteristics.
